The stone looks like real cotton with a frosted cotton texture. But the stone will hold up and make this jewelry last. as you can see in the pictures this is not a flat piece and it has a lot of dimension and detail.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe new diamond stem makes this cotton design light up. There are three of the highest quality .01ct. diamonds for a total weight of .03ct. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Cotton stone is mounted into a cotton boll bur that is made out of very popular solid 14kt rose gold setting. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis is a piece of fine jewelry that I hand make using stone carving which is almost a lost art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe tie tack is 5\/8\" tall by 7\/16\" wide and 3\/16\" thick.
